full packing list
Here's the list you can copy and paste & i have some more packing tips down below
-2-3 pairs of shoes
-1-2 swimsuits (more if going to the beach)
-2-3 PJ's
-2-3 jackets or sweaters
-4-5 pants (shorts, jeans, etc.)
-8-9 tops (under tanks, short-sleeved, log-sleeved etc.)
-2 dressy items (dresses, rompers, skirts, etc.)
-4-5 bras
-underwear (i like to bring all my underwear, personal preference)
-toiletries
-hairbrush
-hair ties
-dry shampoo
-leave in conditioner
-face wash
-shampoo & conditioner (depending on where you are going)
-tooth brush & toothpaste
-deodorant (if you decided not to bring it in your carry on)
- razor & shaving cream
-jewelry (limit your pieces)
A couple of tips...
-I like to have about ten outfits so even if i write out those ten for example:
outfit 1:
-trench coat
-Oregon duck shirt
-black leggings
-I do this only to have a grid for what i need to pack and also if i need to have more versatile pieces in my collection. I also like to write three main things that i will be doing wherever we are headed whether it is -walking -reading -swimming or whatever and then for those things i would write three words to describe my style on that vacation, for example:
-walking - loose
-reading - comfortable
-swimming -water able
-So those three things all apply to the whole vacation, like here i am probably going on a cruise or beach vacay, they can also combine into what i am bringing, factoring what season and such.
-I personally like rolling clothes and putting them in cubes, at the location you get to you can just open the cubes and place them on a shelf or whatever so you don't have to spend lots of time repacking later.
-I love putting my shoes in small bags, nothing fancy, i use like a reusable target bag or whatever but it just keeps your suitcase clean & then you can put your shoes anywhere and not have to worry about messing up your clothes.
-Create easy access, this is really important, if you do decide to leave stuff in your suitcase, often i will just bring my shoes out of the bag and stand them where they are or whatever, i talk about this more in the video.
